Heiress Persians and Exotics has changed alot in the last few years. Currently we only have a few cats, and are planning to remain very small, so that I can give excellent care and lots of love to each individual treasured feline! The downsize came about because I was expecting, and had to find homes for most all of my Persians. Heiress Persians, Himalayans & Exotics is a small CFA Cattery of Excellence, now located in Peachtree City, Georgia, (formerly in Tampa/Bloomingdale, Florida) I love spending time with my Persians, and breed as a hobby, and to improve the breed itself! My name is Jacqueline. I am French & Cherokee, hence the love of Native Indian art on my site often.I have a passion for cats and inspiring, thought-provoking art! My cattery name came to me one morning when I was in my den, 2003 or so, in Seffner, Florida, brainstorming about ideas of what my cattery name should be. It was to be regal, cat-like, feminine, and with a certain power and light to it. HEIRESS is named as a tribute to my dad, he is in real estate, and I lost him when young, so the name reminds me of him and he also invested in several of my foundation cats, including Tiger, my girl from Bryn Mawr, and Alaska, a tortie I loved. (Thank you Irene Kachel) Prior to that, my cattery was called Lil' Tigers, since I always referred to my cats by that name...I also say "hey girl" and "talk" to them!! I think it's important to socialize the kittens, and I know each of my Persians by heart. I am also a firm believer in Christ, I accepted the Lord in to my life when I was young. I remember exactly where I was on the steps of a Church in Bloomingdale, Florida. Free will is the key, God gave us each free will to choose what path to take, to believe in Him or not, rather than making us robots who just followed unknowingly. The Bible says " For God so LOVED the world, that He GAVE His only begotten Son, that whoever BELIEVES in Him shall not perish but will have eternal life" John 3:16 ......this is one of the most powerful verses in the Bible itself. The best part about knowing God besides eternal life, and the promise of Heaven, is we receive JOY, not just happiness that comes and goes, and fluctuates, but joy that is ever present, doesn't fade or change, we always have it when we know Him! Thanks for listening, if anyone is offended, I think they should look inside and think, why am I offended? I think it's important to share our faith, and the hope that is in us, especially these days. He is my Savior, Prince of Peace... I was raised Baptist and am now contemporary, non-denominational. I believe in Jesus, that he died on the cross for me, and made a way for each of us to receive eternal life, (forever in Heaven) through belief in Him alone. I prefer spirituality, a relationship with God, the Creator of the Universe and all therein, versus Religion and its routine and ritual. My Cattery is Dedicated first of all to the Glory of God, and may He bless it, as well as each life He touches through Persians, and the friends I meet along the way!! I have always loved cats, my first cat being a part-Persian, or alley cat.......named Priscilla. I called her "Prissy" and she was the first feline I loved, she lived to be about 22 years old!! Currently, I have two cats: Puddin is an Exotic Shorthair Himalayan, and our main Queen!! The Sire is Oscar, who came from a good friend in the cat fancy, Martha. When he arrived he was very skiddish and fearful, and since then has adjusted but still has a bit of a shy personality! He is a big cat, great doming, large eyes, and ears set wide apart. His stocky, traditional look is very beautiful and I am excited to have him! I will add more information throughout the summer. Thank you for visiting! Jacqueline " For every good and perfect gift is from above, sent down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation, or shifting shadow" (who does not change like shifting shadows) James 1:17

Priscilla, aka Prissy,
This was my very first cat. As a girl in kindergarten , over in Hawaii, I longed for a cat. My parents promised me when we returned to the "mainland" I could have a cat. She was given to me around Christmas time in the early eighties, as a little black and white longhair kitten, with a big red bow around her neck.......I'll never forget that day. She lived to be 22. Although she wasn't pedigreed, in her eyes she was, royalty, no doubt!!
Special Note, Click on this link to read about PKD, Polycystic Kidney Disease, which we must be aware of, as informed breeders, and take precautions for by testing our Persian cats, as this breed is prone to this disease. Heiress Cattery is currently in the process of testing each cat, results will be noted.
